Asbestos Management Surveys from Enviro Safe
An asbestos management survey is carried out to manage any asbestos containing materials during the normal occupation and use of premises. Management surveys are often referred to Type 1, 2 or 3 asbestos surveys. These are redundant now and have been replaced with two types of surveys:
- Management Survey
- Refurbishment & Demolition Survey
The Management Survey is similar to the Type 1 & 2 surveys where a qualified surveyor will inspect the premises and locate all asbestos containing materials. The previous surveys adhered to the MDHS 100 guidelines; however, this is now out of date and has been replaced by the HSG 264 guidelines.
