"We have gained a lot of experience"
The six month course of
work was carefully co-ordinated to ensure a
smooth transition. The programme of works
undertaken by ourselves was initially to carry
out a ‘strip-out’ of all internal fixings
throughout. The asbestos removal works consisted
of the removal of floor tiles, asbestos
insulation boarding and externally sited
asbestos materials throughout. The end result
was to leave the building as an empty shell
ready for the planned refurbishment works.
We
are proud of our involvement towards the newly
refurbished building. We have gained a lot of
experience in playing such a large role in a
major project, which has been of great benefit
to us in organising other similar projects which
we have since undertaken. |
