Emergency call out to a large ex army barracks

"All possible precautions were taken"

We received an emergency call out from a major international property company to attend the above site and make safe. The buildings and surrounding area had been badly fire damaged. As asbestos was contained within the construction of the building, all possible precautions were taken to minimise the release of fibres into the atmosphere.

 
 Work to safely clear the site also consisted of the demolition of any unsafe structure. The time period taken to safely clear the site including all asbestos removal and demolition was approximately four weeks. The contract involved constant liaising with the local borough council, the fire brigade and the client. Considering the extent of works involved we worked safely and efficiently to keep all possible dangers under control. Once our works were complete the site was handed over to our client in a safe and satisfactory state ready for further contractors to attend to carry out various tasks as required.
