WORK PROCESSES......
i)Before any work is carried out we will take an account of building plans or any relevant information available, usually an inspection will be made of the premises. 

ii)If applicable we will make formal written notifications to the enforcing authority at least fourteen days before work is due to commence. This is an absolute obligation.

iii)A suitable assessment is created with significant findings recorded. This assessment is then used to prepare a detailed plan of work. The plan of work shall be site specific and shall cover the information relevant to the scope of works. 

 

iv)Where it is has been determined that there is a possibility of the spread of asbestos and where it is reasonably practicable to do so, an enclosure will be formed, either by the use of the structure or fabric of the building, or by a temporary construction. We will provide all materials needed for the construction of such an enclosure.

v)Provision of all necessary control measures (plant and equipment) with full and proper use of any relevant control measures used. 

vi)All plant and equipment used by our employee’s is thoroughly examined and tested at suitable intervals by competent technicians.

vii)Our employee’s are trained at regular intervals in accordance with current regulations which are adapted to take account of significant changes in the types of procedures carried out.

viii)Where applicable an independent UKAS accredited analyst will be appointed to carry out necessary air monitoring and visual inspections. 

ix)Where applicable a site clearance certificate will be issued by an independent UKAS accredited analyst upon satisfactory assessment of the four stages of clearance
as follows:
 

Stage 1: Preliminary check of site condition and job completeness
Stage 2: Thorough visual inspection
Stage 3: Clearance air monitoring
Stage 4: Final assessment post enclosure / work area.
