Waste Transfer Station

We are approved through The Waste Management Industry Training and Advisory Board (WAMITAB) to operate a waste transfer station in accordance with legislation as set by the Environment agency.

We manage our waste transfer station by carefully isolating the hazardous materials within an enclosed containment. Due to us being in the sector for waste management and for storing hazardous waste, in our case Asbestos. We must have authorisation to store the waste by the environmental agency. We must abide by various EA regulations, this takes into account the type of enclosed containment we use, where it’s sited and how it’s accessed. The majority of our hazardous asbestos waste comes from our removal jobs, however we also help companies dispose of their own hazardous asbestos waste. Alternatively we also manage public enquiries where home asbestos removal is president, we complete the removal job and manage the waste in the same way as our commercial asbestos removal jobs.

Once our enclosed containment is full we arrange for it to be collected and removed from site, returning the waste transfer station to us once the hazardous material is removed and destroyed.
